Ex9S80A motorbeveiligingsschakelaars beschermen driefase asynchrone motoren tegen overbelasting, kortsluiting en fase-uitval. Ze zijn geschikt voor motoren met beperkte schakelfrequentie en kunnen ook worden toegepast voor beveiliging van voedingslijnen of voor isolatie. De instelbare overbelastingsstroom (Ir) maakt een nauwkeurige afstemming op de motor mogelijk en biedt tevens bescherming bij fase-uitval. Temperatuurcompensatie beperkt de invloed van de omgevingstemperatuur. Een testfunctie maakt controle van de werking mogelijk en een vergrendelbare bedieningsknop voorkomt ongewenste bediening. De motorbeveiligingsschakelaars zijn uit te breiden met accessoires zoals hulpkontacten, signaalcontacten, shunttrip en onderspanningsspoelen.
